Who are behind the apologists for Vaccine/Mercury safety?

Many of the experts [or the organizations they represent] who defend the safety of mercury in vaccines have corporate sponsorship.

For example: The Canadian Pediatric Society's Web site was the recipient of an "unrestricted grant" from Pfizer and Whitehall-Robins. The Canadian Coalition of Immunization Awareness and Promotion [One may be led to believe they're an independent consumer group] is sponsored by Aventis Pasteur, GlxoSmithKline, Merck Frosst, Shire Biologics and Wyeth.
