It�s great to see your initiative to pull all the suppliers together in Canada. I was sorry to not meet you in Bonn � but David Hinde, our Legal Director, fed back lots of interesting info on progress of the meeting and his discussions with you.

I attach for your information a press release (21 Oct) on the concurrent legal action against the EU Food Supplements Directive that you may be interested in adding to your new site (�Other health freedom legal battles�). It�s important to appreciate that two separate legal actions were initiated in October, the NAHS/HFMA covers some key UK industry interests in two UK associations, while that of the ANH represents interests particularly among innovative companies (see Support Base on www.alliance-natural-health.org) as well as interests in the practitioner field from a number of European countries including the UK, Sweden, Ireland and Italy.

As you probably know, the cases will be heard together (probably in the UK) and we are all hopeful of getting a referral to the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg where the real battle will take place assuming we are successful in getting the referral.
