Dear IMVA,

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Russell Baylock has joined the IMVA board of directors as has Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Bayati, and Dr. Gary Goldman. I have been holding off from group communications for a few days pondering deeply on our mission, which cannot be compromised for any reason. Dr. Baylock, who is an eminent neurosurgeon and also an editor of the AAPS�s medical journal (American Association of Physicians and Surgeons) said to me the other day, � I think your journal and the IMVA can have a real impact in correcting so much of what is wrong with organized medicine.�

Having an effective impact that stands a chance of penetrating through the dense lines of defenses at the IOM, CDC, FDA, AMA and a host of other organizations is crucial to our mission and purpose for without such changes we are allowing the medical establishment, through their ideas of correctness, continue to kill and hurt people. In every major category up for immediate discussion and investigation, we find CDC officials, and spokespeople from each one of these public health organizations, defending their actions, policies, recommendations and the status quo of medicine.

It is my observation that the medical establishment has not listened to anyone no matter who they are or what they are saying. I have read testimony given before Congress by Dr. Boyd Haley, the chairmen of the chemistry department at Kentucky U. as well as Dr. Jane Orient�s and others about issues like the use of mercury in vaccines and the hepatitis B vaccine, and nothing is changing. The latest IOM pronouncement shows that. (I will send tomorrow a dramatically updated version of my essay on the IOM) So having a �real impact� is the miracle we have to pull off.

In this final week before our opening to the public what is uppermost in my mind is forming the board of directors. Actually I can see forming two board circles, an inner and an outer, which could work together and independently. The inner board would out of necessity need to be a medical and scientific board staffed by PhDs, M.D.s, DOs, O.M.D.s, DCs etc; an interdisciplinary board of professionals. And perhaps people with master degrees and RNs could be included for many of them are primary health care givers.

The reason for this is that we are out to change medical policy and begin the long process of redefining medical science. Planning on success (because failure is not an option) means planning to stand under a bright spotlight and making our organization open to attack and ridicule. Its unfortunate that medical truth and the people who stand up to it have to be careful about the kind of people and organizations we are up against.

Thus I am seeing the need for the organization itself, for the IMVA to stand out as the main entity and all of us, especially me, moving behind that identity and merging into it. On a practical level I see this accomplished in the following way. First we create a strong board. Then we make IMVA positional statements about issues like the universal flu vaccine recommendations, about using mercury in vaccines, about multiple vaccines given simultaneously, toxic antiviral AIDS medications, fluoride in water supplies, MSG and aspartame in foods, conflicts of interesting in the medical establishment, injections of babies with hepatitis B vaccine, etc. When you read the IOM essay again read it with the idea of signing your name to the bottom. I would hope that at least our board members would participate on the level of document creation where they would sign on to each IMVA medical positional statement, or offer discussion about aspects that are not agreed on until consensus is reached.

Then one by one we would bring such documents to the medical world and the public; requesting doctors of all stripes to sign on or offer intelligent debate that would be integrated into an ever expanding document, which could easily end up as a book on each topic.

So the IMVA board would be the first interdisciplinary �medical consensus board� and in the name of the IMVA, put out powerful medical opinions of medical truth free from conflicts of interest. Then as doctors around the world sign on we would gain power and strength on each specific medical issue. There have been large unions of scientists who have done this about issues like global warming and environmental destruction and that has not changed things though many of us are more informed for their efforts. In medicine our focus is tighter but we should never underestimate the forces of resistance to medical truth.

It has been my basic plan to take the IMVA to the world through an intense marketing campaign directed first at the many different primary health care workers, and then eventually the general public. There is no limit when it comes to health and medical issues. Before starting the IMVA I was a very public person with my Medical News Commentaries. Before starting to publish again, and inviting many thousands of people to begin visiting the IMVA site, I think it would be best to form the board and solidify its position.

The outer board could actually be the administrative board and include anyone dedicated to the IMVA and restoring medical truth to health care.

So please everyone make your wishes and intentions clear to me. We also are not operational in a business sense yet, meaning are not marketing and selling journals and memberships. On two shoulders so far the finances have rested and neither of them are mine. On a financial level if everyone receiving this letter were simply to join and purchase the first issue or subscribe to the first year (two issues) we would be on a better financial footing. More on this subject another day.

It is our job to make the IMVA into an institution that will be recognized around the world for medical honesty and freedom from vested interests. Our name is perfect for the vision. Medical Veritas, medical truth! An obvious but powerful idea.
