German book "Die Krankheitserfinder"

<<< Back to German Health Regulatory History

This spring there was on German ZDF TV a interview with Joerg Blech, an investigating medical journalist and biochemist about his book "Die Krankheitserfinder" (in English "The disease inventors") which became in Germany an instant bestseller. He investigated the Pharmaceutical Industry worldwide and shows their only motivation MONEY which enables them to pay high dividends to their shareholders (most of them MD's!!) For the Pharma people there is no such thing like a "healthy" person.

The copyrights for the English version of the book, maybe with a different title, was bought by Routledge Taylor & Francis, London, UK and will be published end of January 2005. This book is DYNAMITE and a MUST to read. Maybe finally the truth will prevail that the public at large is treated like GUINEA PIGS. Besides you hear now each week (Art Hister, GKNW) about dangerous prescription drugs that kill people like Vioux that are taken off the market only after a number of people have died!!. It is hard to believe that people have to die first (and Health Canada accepts a certain number before any investigation takes place) as mentioned in the forward of the book "Hard to Swallow" about food additives because politicians look at how many votes they might lose if they start action against any drug manufacturer. I informed about the Geman book Siegfried Gursche and suggested that he should publish excerpts from the book in each issue in alive and also sell the book and I will also inform all public and trade Health Magazines, radio stations etc. about it. Since May 31,04 when we moved our company to Vancouver and both our sons Peter & Harald running the company I can devote more time for our fight against the new rules & regulations for Natural health products and hope that the private members bill C-420 re-instated by Colin Carrie,Oshawa might make it to the third reading and our chances are better than ever to get it done due to strong support from all opposition parties. Any future correspondence please email to both our addresses: [email protected] and to my email: [email protected]

Yours in health, Klaus Ferlow
