See how Health Canada (and the US FDA) Lies

<<< Back to Canada Health Regulatory History

"Ephedra is a compound most commonly found in the herb majuang. This herb has been used for centuries around the world, most notably in China, as a very effective remedy for various illness including obesity and asthma. It is safe and incredibly effective.

In a very well orchestrated debunking campaign, the FDA has banned the use of Ephedra stating it is dangerous. Ephedra was banned because 153 deaths have been linked to taking Ephedra. Now, millions of people were taking Ephedra. If you take any group of ten million people, over a year, theres a good chance that 153 people in that group will die. The FDA said there is a "link" between Ephedra use and those deaths. There is absolutely no conclusive evidence that Ephdra caused those deaths or even had a remote association with those deaths."
