Every Canadian has an inherent legal right, not only as guaranteed by the Canadian Charter, but also by the UN Charter, to have uncensored access to all of the information, pro and con, for all of one's choices when it comes to the prevention, and treatment of any disease, as well as their practitioner of choice.
Trueman Tuck goes on to say:
"Health Canada officials are not imposing the same risk and benefit criteria, and adverse event criteria in their regulatory enforcement on products such as aspartame, acetaminophen, and paxil, as Health Canada does with food-based, non-drug medicines such as Kava Kava, MSM, Strauss Heart Drops, Recovery, EM Power and other food-based highly effective nutritional medicines.
Doctors, hospitals, and prescription drugs have been clearly identified in the US as the third leading cause of death, so why would on June 18, 2003 Health Canada announce that some 60,000 safe, effective food-based, non-drug Canadian medicines had to be turned into DRUGS for some yet unexplained statistical based reason?
Health Canada's newest regulatory attempt (last tried in 1997) to turn 60,000 safe and effective food-based, non-drug medicines into drugs is a complete betrayal of the promises made to over 1,000,000 Canadians in 1997 and 1998 by the Honourable Allan Rock, then Minister of Health on behalf of the Liberal government".
