Two steps we should take on THE DA VINCI CODE MOVIE

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing"

*** Edmund Burke

Dear Friends:

We all know that famous, wise saying by the stalwart British Christian statesman, Edmund Burke.....I have just sent you the good news about the victory of Rev. Stephen Boissoin and the CCC and Alliance Defense Fund (from U.S) over a militant homosexual activist.....Praise The Lord, we have achieved the victory mainly because brave Christian souls like Stephen Boissoin et al had the gumption to do something about the juggernaut of the homosexual agenda steamrolling over everyone in its path.....too often, timid Canadian Christians have simply rolled over and did nothing, thereby helping to increase the triumph of evil in the land.....'tis high time we stood up for our rights, don't you think?

I must confess, I feel very thankful and blessed to be a vehicle for conveying to you such important & useful information.....yesterday too, I was honored & blessed to be given the following info for you to act upon re the evil film, The Da Vinci Code, slated to be unleashed upon a hapless & gullible public on May 19 (I believe.)......in my years of email ministry, I have made many good friends, one of them being Robert Knight, the esteemed

director of the Culture and Family Institute (CFI), an affiliate of Concerned Women for America.....I frequently post his incisive, thoughful articles here......I have great regard for Bob and his astute thinking.....so, when he advised me that he had signed a petition against the Da Vinci Code movie, I immediately took his well-considered advice and did the same, and kindly advised that we all do the following:

2) The other step we should take to strike a blow against that evil movie is the fascinating, intriguing suggestion made by another esteemed email friend, Louis DeSerres, the courageous Quebec chairman of Vote Marriage Canada (www.votemarriagecanada.ca), among other accomplishments (recently he gave a great speech in the Massachusetts legislature defending traditional marriage).....anyway, here is the suggestion made by Louis DeSerres, and we should give it a try:

Robert,

I received an interesting suggestion from some folks in Latin America. The suggestion is really excellent.

The following is an automated translation from Spanish. I must apologize, I do not have the time to fix up the text or find the exact name of the alternate film they are talking about.

Here is the automatic translation, with some mistakes..... but you will understand the meaning:

For all those that are worried about May 19th, date in that the film is released "the Da Vinci Code", we put this suggestion of Barbara Nicolosi, the Professional member of the Catholic Academy for the Communication and Arts to them. She proposes a very effective way to send a message to Hollywood. What you will do the 19 of May? The 19 of May is the date in which the film will be released. A film based on a book that shows to the heresy and the blasphemy like in honors list. What can we do like Christians in answer to this opening? I will offer the usual options to them and a novel plus....

 Here are the usual reactions:

A) We can ignore the film. The problem with this option is that we will not affect the statistics. The success or failure of a film is moderate by the tickets that are bought in relation to the other films and not by that they are not bought. If we ignored the film and we remained in house, there will be lost the opportunity of which our vote is listened to. >From the point of view of Hollywood, you do not count. If you remain in house, you lose the opportunity to make see the takers of decisions what class of films is those that we want to see in the great screen.

 B) We can protest The problem with this option is that it does not work. Any publicity is good. The protests not only give fuel him to the public opinion, but that in addition make appear to the catholics like perfect idiots.  And, the protests and boicots do not influence in the finances for Hollywood, nor will move the decisions about what films must produce Hollywood in the next years. Probably we will convince them to make more films that offend Christians so that they themselves do publicity to their films.

C) We can discuss the film. We can be rational and publish hundreds of study guides and factories and rebuttals point by point to the lies promulgated by the film. The problem with this is that nobody listens. All people think that they already know what we are going to say to them. And anyway we will lose most of these discussions, does not matter how prepared we are, because the power of histories is always greater to the power of the real facts (for that reason Jesus spoke in parabols). And once again: the rational discussion will not affect the decisions of Hollywood about what class of films to produce.

D) But there is one fourth option: On May the 19th, we must go to the cinema, but go to see ANOTHER FILM.

(Here is my suggestion for an alternative movie, I would much prefer: "United 93".....by seeing that great film, the "film of the year" as one film critic exulted, we would be killing two birds with one stone.....we would be standing up to the Muslim Jihadists as well as the Secular Jihadists......here is the latest recommendation for the movie by the well-respected George Will: *** George Will: Civic Duty: Go See 'United 93'

Separate the date from now on: 19 or 20 May, but not later that the Sunday 21 that is when they make the cut of box of the income in the weekend. You will have voted. This it is the only vote that Hollywood recognizes: the cold power of the money that has been collected in the ticket offices in a weekend. Then use your vote. You do not waste it. Vote to another film different from the "Da Vinci Code". If enough people do that, the power will make notice. They will not have election. That same day the film of Dream Works "Over is the hedge" is released, the short ones are likeable and you can take your children and your friends. We are going all to watch it. We are going to move the statistics of a way that nobody the delay, without protests, boicots, discussions, resentment. Let us show the teller in the ticket office our vote and that sounds our currencies voting by another different film. And also buy popcorn. 19 of May. Sign now your agenda. Opening of Over the Hedge.

Enough for now. Please act. Thanks.
