This drug based approach to AIDS is wrong.
There has to be a separate main track on AIDS and Holistic Healing
(or Alternative Medicine) at the next AIDS Conference,
which I would like to moderate, because I am expert in that field.
I shall also select genuine scientists and expert panel of speakers
instead of hand-picked pliable persons that the AIDS conference
organisers arrange to hoodwink the world.
AIDS Alternativa International could also be included as
one of the organising associations to balance the discussion.
There has to be a paradigm shift from HIV = AIDS = ARVs.
From AIDS Scare to AIDS Care should be our approach.

and read my popular book
AIDS AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE going into fourth
edition due to popular demand.

Subject: IAS Announcement: Future Directions Project for the
InternationalAIDSConference
Dear Colleague,
As an IAS Member, or a delegate of a previous International AIDS Conference,
we are pleased to send you the following information:
The IAS, custodian of the biennial International AIDS Conference, has
initiated a full and consultative review process of the International AIDS
Conference. Formally called the "Future Directions Project", this process
aims to identify the objectives of the Conference through broad consultation
with key stakeholder groups, and ascertain the mechanisms for ongoing
stakeholder involvement into the planning, execution and evaluation of the
Conference.
An evaluation project involving 3,000 interviews and focus groups began
during the XV International AIDS Conference in Bangkok. The interim results
from this project, together with IAS internal reports and feedback from
partner organisations and key stakeholder groups, prompted the decision to
conduct a review of the International AIDS Conference. The IAS and IAS
Governing Council received valuable feedback from stakeholders including IAS
Members, co-organisers, people living with HIV/AIDS, advocates, activists,
AIDS and Development NGOs, the pharmaceutical industry and
non-pharmaceutical business sector, public donors, private foundations, UN
and other intergovernmental organisations and the scientific community.
Further information about the Future Directions Project, including how you
can be involved, will be sent to you in a subsequent email.
Sincerely,
IAS Headquarters
