Patriot act 2 that Bush and Ashcroft ...

Government Tyranny ]
Patriot act 2 that Bush and Ashcroft wanted was passed on Thursday!October 12, The Nation - The courage of one: Feingold standsalone for the Constitution
Every member of the United States Senate swears upon taking office to defendthe Constitution. Many fashion themselves as champions of the that cherished document's Bill of Rights and its outline of the nation's freedoms. Even after all the assaults on the American Civil Liberties Union, a few senators still identify as civil libertarians.
But in this era's greatest test of Congressional commitment to defend the Constitution's most vital protections, only one senator stood by his commitment to liberty. |

Lawyers can take you to the cleaners By VAL SEARS -- Ottawa SunI've been in court hundreds of times but only charged with a crime once. That was libel and I won.
Still, all those hours on a hard seat listening to boring testimony as a reporter does allow one to muse about justice and particularly about our
disintegrating legal system, by which I mean lawyers.
When I was a kid journalist back in the 1950s in Toronto, criminal lawyers were heroes. Big shooters, rich, flamboyant, always ready with a drink or a quip. Guys like Arthur Maloney, Dave Humphrey, Charlie Dubin, Arthur Martin. |

Blaming The VictimThe Genesis of the Breakup of Canada
Paul McKeever
A lawyer practising in Uxbridge and Toronto, Ontario, Paul McKeever is an executive member of the Freedom Party of Ontario and is also a founding member and chairman of the newly- forming Freedom Party of Canada.}
The "break-up of Canada"? It's a possibility that the federal government frequently blames on secessionist leanings in Quebec and the West. But are these movements the cause of what ails Canada, or are they symptoms? For an answer, one need only look at the genesis of secessionist sentiments. |

Percy Schmeiser's War against Monsanto
The Institute of Science in Society
8-15-03
What makes a farmer from a small rural community in Saskatchewan stand up to Monsanto? And possibly, win? Dr. Mae-Wan Ho reports.
Percy Schmeiser, now in his early seventies, a soft-spoken, mild-mannered Canadian farmer from the small rural community of Bruno some 80km east of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, never dreamt he would be catapulted to the status of a contemporary folk-hero. He had been farming for 40 years when he was taken to court by biotech giant Monsanto in August 1998. The company claimed he had illegally planted its genetically engineered Roundup Ready canola without paying a $37-per-hectare fee for the privilege.

Free speech falls prey to 'human rights'Ian Hunter - National Post
Monday, August 18, 2003
Time was when freedom of speech was considered the cornerstone of democracy. No more -- at least not in Canada. Of course, Canadians are not very keen on democracy, either, being content to be ruled in perpetuity by a combination of courts and the Liberal party.
Freedom of speech is protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, and by Section 2 of our Charter of Rights. Everyone likes rights on paper; for that matter, we like free speech, too, as long as the speech in question is soothing, anodyne and we happen to agree with it. We don't much like freedom for speech that offends us, or with which we disagree. |

I Own the FDA... Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen
August 19th, 2003
I'll bet you didn't know that I own the FDA. It's mine.
It belongs to me because several years ago American citizens, just like you and me, figured out that we, as Americans, needed a Food & Drug Administration (FDA) to deal with some issues. We felt we needed an ongoing agency, under our control, to keep an eye on some particular things. So we created the FDA to do our bidding. We gave it a mission. |

Pharma Friends ]
My [Jim Chambers'] day in Court. - preceded by Croft's comments If vitamins and minerals with Drug Identification Numbers are tax deductible when purchased through a "recognized" dispensary but not tax deductible when purchased from a health food store or even a supermarket supermarket this constitutes rank discrimination against the health food store or supermarket.
If the physician's preference is a type of supplement - i.e., potency, formulation, or brand not sold by the pharmacist or dispensary, what difference does it make who sells the product as long as it is the product recommended by the health professional and /or preferred by the patient? (quality, hypo allergenic, nature of the excipients, tablet or capsules which may be of animal or vegetable gelatin source) |

CORPORATE CRIME - CORPORATE LAW
Posted by AES |
Monday, August 11 @ 10:30:46 CDT [
Government Tyranny ]
CORPORATE CRIME - CORPORATE LAWCorporate Law sanctions an incorporated business as a single 'PERSON' for PROFIT ONLY i.e. anything goes, if it is profitable to the corporation.
This allows decision making executive/s to avoid responsibility and being named if the company is sued....Thus the corporation (PERSON) is
authorized by law to pursue activities that would otherwise be criminal...FOR PROFIT ONLY.
Corporate Law sanctions advertising of products that kill, poison, maim etc. and to promote lying propaganda that sows discord among communities and countries by censored media, also Incorporated.. |
